University of New England (UNE) accepts ELSIS EAP program

21 Oct 2020, Sydney. ELSIS’ EAP programs will now be accepted under University of New England’s (UNE) English Language Requirements for Admission Rule (ELRA) and English Language Requirements Higher than the University Minimum Annex.

The university will accept students who have successfully completed the English for Academic Purposes (EAP) program from a non-university NEAS-accredited English Language Prover that has a formal agreement with UNE under which it provides an equivalent EAP Program.

This means ELSIS students who have satisfactorily completed the English for Academic Purposes (EAP) program at the IELTS 6.0 level will be eligible to meet UNE’s English requirements for what are called “standard” courses.

“This constitutes a major partnership in ELSIS’ continuous efforts to become a premium provider when it comes to Academic Preparation Programs,” stated Thorsten Wilhelm, General Manager of ELSIS.

“The University of New England is delighted to partner with ELSIS to provide students with a quality English language pathway to achieve their higher education goals”, stated Ingrid Elliston, Director International at UNE.

NEAS recently released its endorsement of ELSIS as a Quality Online Provider. ELSIS’s remote delivery model is enhanced by the incorporation of E2Classroom, a state-of-the-art learning management system purpose-built for languages and filled with additional quality learning content.

In partnership with TAFE NSW, ELSIS also offers a range of pathway programs that provide guaranteed entry into a number of Australian VET providers / universities. ELSIS’ courses provide a direct pathway into TAFE NSW certificate, diploma and bachelor degree courses.

“We are on a growth path, so our students can continue to grow,” added Mr. Wilhelm. “Our aim to provide high quality education so they can have every avenue to pursue a successful career.”
