To provide support during these challenging times, ELSIS offers students easy access to remote classes and a range of online learning resources relevant to their language proficiency levels via the ELSIS Virtual Learning Space.

1 Why do we have to study remotely? Your safety and health are our top priority. As the risk of getting infected with COVID-19 has increased in Australia, all ELSIS classes will be delivered remotely, which means you attend classes from home. Our aim to minimize the risk of our students and staff catching the virus, yet ensuring you receive a quality education.
2 What will be the classes available during the remote delivery?

Morning classes: From 8:15 to 12:30.Courses and levels available in the morning: General English all levels, Cambridge Courses and IELTS.

Evening classes: From 5:10 to 9:30. Courses and levels available in the evening: General English all levels.

3 Does attending classes remotely affect my visa requirements? No, the change from face-to-face to online delivery will not impact your compliance with your visa conditions.
4 Will my class attendance be monitored? Yes, your class teacher will monitor your attendance and progress as usual.
5 Will there be any changes to my current class schedule? ELSIS will contact you if there are any changes to your current timetable.
6 Can I still apply for a timetable change? Yes, if your work arrangements change, you can request a timetable change by emailing our student services.
7 How do I contact Student services? You can contact student services from 8:00 am to 5:00pm via phone or email.

8 How do I access remote classes? You can access your remote classes using ELSIS Virtual Learning Space via the following website link: http://elsis.e2classroom.com.You can also use our platform to access a range of free online learning resources relevant to your English language level including an online grammar course and an online pronunciation course.
9 What equipment do I need to access remote classes? You need a computer or your smart phone, a microphone and good internet connection.
10 What can I do if I do not have access to the internet at home? Contact your mobile phone provider and check whether they are offering free data allowance upgrades for those affected by COVID-19.

11 Who do I contact if I am having trouble accessing my zoom lessons? Contact your teacher first. If you cannot reach your teacher, then contact student services.
12 Are remote lessons interactive? Yes, remote classes resemble your face-to-face lessons. You have access to your teacher and classmates, you can ask questions and work together in pairs and groups.
13 Who do I contact if I want to discuss my progress? To discuss your progress, email student services to arrange a Zoom meeting with the Director of Studies.
14 How can I request a course change? Contact student services via email or phone and make sure you have updated your personal information on RTOM.
15 If I am sick, do I need to provide doctor certificates? Yes, you do need to provide a doctor certificate and you need to inform your teacher and student services.
16 How do I access welfare services? To access online welfare services download the Converge International APP ‘EAP Connect’ through the Apple or Google play store to your phone/laptop. You can access booking services by calling 1300687327 or visiting the following website: https://www.convergeinternational.com.au
17 Can I continue my course if I go back home? Yes, you can continue your course online, however, we do not advise students to travel during this stage.
18 If I change my course how do I get a new book? ELSIS will keep you updated via email and social media regarding course book pick up times. Your book will be posted to you if you live in an area that is under strict social restrictions.
19 Will we have a graduation ceremony each Friday? No, we will not have Friday graduation ceremonies, but we will send you your certificate via email. If you want a hard copy of your certificate, you can collect it when we resume classes on campus. If you had already left the country by then, we will send your certificate by mail to the home country address you had provided on RTOM.
20 What happens if I cannot pay my fees? If you are facing hardships and you are finding it difficult to pay your fees, we can help you. Please contact student services.
21 Can I defer my course? If you wish to differ your course contact student services and they will let you know if you are eligible for a course deferral.
22 I am a new student; how do I enrol in my course? You will receive a New Student Orientation email with information on enrolment process and orientation. Please refer to the letter section related to your campus location.
23 What if I cannot arrive in Australia on time for my course? You can commence your course from overseas until travel restrictions are lifted.
